Hello Team:Here’s a quick reminder for us today. Sincere worship to God must have substance, integrity, and purity. God will uncover and rebuke sin especially when it’s unacknowledged or when we minimize it. Confession to God is good for our souls.

Are you a person of integrity? How do you work without supervision? Do you work harder if your boss is around? Do you cut corners you know your supervisor/superior will never notice? Work for your employers as you would for Jesus Christ. Work hard with or without supervision.

1 Peter 1:15-17 (KJV)15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Out of my mouth, I cry holy! Holy! Holy!
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
God is worthy to receive glory
He created the universe and galaxies
Everything that our eyes behold whispers his majesty
From the highest mountain to the lowest valley
The rivers and the seas
The flowers and the trees
Creatures great and small
He created them all
People from all nation
He is the creator of all existence
They all showed forth his handy works
Each morning is full of new mercies
His loving kindness is far above rubies
He is LORD of the heavens, the earth, and the sea
Holy! Holy! Holy

The Church is within us, put away Idols.

Deuteronomy 4:24 I am a consuming fire and a jealous God

While I was listening to the speakers and the testimonies at Prayer Works Café Event on July 31, 2012, I heard the voice of the Lord saying “The Church is within you”. I shared for a moment on it but I found myself pondering on this. I just could not let it go. I did not know exactly what this meant and therefore while I was having my Quite Time with the Lord I started to journal about the day’s event and what a blessing it was for all who participated.

When God speaks

I heard again, “the church is within you”. I know I am writing to a lot of persons who know what it feels like to hear God speaks. It’s the kind of voice that you can’t shun. It is the speaking that takes over your entire being, which cause nervousness to the point of tears. It felt familiar because I have been down this road where I know God is speaking and I must obey. Can you relate?

There’s a King within you

I heard again “the church is within you. Then I heard! Why worry about a building or a specific person? Give me glory because my kingdom is made manifested within you. Worship me and do not create idols out of what you see around you. Nothing should take my place. Listen carefully to me, I am God and He that worship me must worship me in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24). I am a consuming fire and a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24). Abide in me and I will abide in you (John 15:4). You know this already so let this take root in your heart. Keep your eyes on me, encourage each other, pray for each other, be your brothers’ keeper, pour your lives into the lost and the desolate. Again, if you do this my kingdom is made alive in you. Bear each other’s burden, be a light, don’t lose hope because I am with you”

Today, I am still processing this. But what has been the resounding message is that God is within us and worshiping and serving God should be happening anywhere and everywhere. Our worship should affect our families, friends, associates, businesses, communities, nation and the world at large. Let’s challenge ourselves to activate the kingdom of God within us.

Our Father,

Please help me process this in a way that my life would be changed to be more like you. May my worship be pleasing to you? Thank you God, that through you I am made perfect. As I mature in your kingdom you trust me with different levels of responsibilities. Please help me through the Holy Spirit and may my life be a true representation of you, Lord? Order my steps in your word. Amen.
