Morning Reflections with Naudia Bennett

Morning Prayer was a huge blessing this morning.  Sister Naudia Bennett led for the first time and the word came from 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)

“3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Debbie Card (3)

She encouraged us to trust in the promises of God and remain faithful. Reflect on each milestone in our life and see if God was present and how did we get to the next level?

Was there doubt or was there total trust? If not, there is an opportunity to ask God for help as we approach another milestone. Keep our eyes on him, study his word and seek to live by it.

In the end she read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

We thank God for the new person that joined.  His name Eric Miller.  Thanks you Father for answering our prayers to have men step up in the Kingdom of God. It’s very attractive to see a man sold-out for Christ…

Let go and Let God by Trudy Ross

Isaiah 40:28-31
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (NIV)

Where do I start…  Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you keep asking God..WHEN? When is this gonna change, why is this happening, why is it happening to me…well for quite a while that right there was me. At one point I began to think I was annoying God. Then guess what happened? I began to take notice of people around me and how much louder they must have been screaming God why me and when will THIS stop? I noticed I was drawn to a place where I always found my self in prayer on the behalf of these people. The more I did the more I saw something else God wanted me to do, not for me but for someone else.  Mind you my situation  had not changed but he had me busy doing and focusing on other stuff I didn’t  have the time to be focused on me. Guys when I tell you God is a God of HIS time he is!!!!

Let me fill you in some more, I recently migrated to the USA and believe me when I tell you I cried to go home more than anyone else that had taken this road. I was suddenly without a job and in a totally new culture. I applied to every job l could find, nothing happened ( it was during this time I think I became annoying to him…*why me Lord??*  every second of the day. I learned during  this time if it is not Gods time and his will it will not happen.

Fast forward to today I had totally stop stressing about my jobless situation and was busy focusing on what I could do in his kingdom. You know what? That’s all God wanted me to do , handle his business and he will take care of ours.

I had started a event planning company back  home but didn’t think it would go anywhere here…mind you this is my passion, its what I love to do. Right when I wasn’t looking God was lining up everything to fall into place to show not just me when we let everything go and trust him what great thing he can do. He placed people in my life that was about to take things to another level it would blow minds..he reminded me of my dreams,my passion and reminded me that it was not dead it was just  sleeping waiting on the RIGHT TIME and trust me until he says its over it isn’t

I am sitting here getting ready to step out with this company and I am still in awe of how God brought it into place. Take a look at this  http://www.trustarrdesigns.com/  and just look at how big our God is.  He brought people into my life to fulfill his will and not only in my life but the  persons he was lining up. From where I’m sitting the sky is the limit from here , with God as my pilot though.

In closing I will leave with you this: We were put on this earth to praise him, to be about his business. It is when we do this and let go of stressing about  our daily situations and trust him ,we will see that he has always been about ours.

Thank you note from President Barack Obama

“Debbie –I just renewed my oath of office to serve as your president for four more years.

Thank you for making this possible. It’s an honor to be your president.
Now it’s time to finish what we started — let’s get going.

President and Joe

This is what sets this President apart from his predecessors.  A simple thank you note, a simply way of including the grass root people and making them feel integrated in the process to uncovering a better United States America.

The work we have begun is not completed and though we might not be in agreement with everything, he said or does.

Let us join hands and heart and pray for him and his administration. He has to lead through tough times and as a leader myself it is difficult to lead in my tiny role when there is any form of dissension or division.

Can you image him in his role as the President of the United States?

Please join our team of prayer warriors from Prayer Work Evangelism Outreach Ministries and start praying for our President, all those in authority and our Nation under God.

The word of God encourage us to do so.

1 Timothy 2: 1 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Urgent Prayer Request

We desperately need your prayers in our situation.

Men are always to pray

My name is Olubunmi, I am a British Citizen who lives in London, my partner, Audrey is an American Citizen, who at the moment, still lives in Gladstone Missouri.

Last June, Audrey went to Ivory Coast to sell off his Late Father’s ship. Once the sell of the ship went through, Audrey found himself embroiled in massive amount of Red Tape, which involved the Customs in Ivory Coast, who have subsequently placed one challenge after the other on Audrey, hence preventing him from returning to the USA.

When Audrey went to the American Embassy in Ivory Coast to ask for help and assistance in this matter, the Embassy has refused to help him, purely because Audrey mistakenly did not apply for the Smart Travelers Enrollment Program, before he left the States.

Audrey has left his ten-year old daughter back home in the States with friends and you can imagine what the separation is doing to them. We have now all missed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

As you can imagine Audrey is slowly becoming quite despondent and he is fighting to hold.

Please pray for us, that Audrey will be able to leave Ivory Coast and return home safely.

Thank you and God Bless.

Prayer with ceasing

Dear God, the master of all our problems. I worship you in spite of our setbacks. We are indeed in the last days, you have stated in your words that perilous times shall come. If ever a time we are experiencing perilous times its now.

We are so saddened by the tragedy in Connecticut. My savior you know the extend of the damage. Merciful father you know the pains that the loved ones of the bereaved family are experiencing at this time. I know prayer works for sure, because i have proven you so many times and times again.

I pray that you take control of the situation.I pray that those who mourn the death of these little children will with time find comfort in thee oh Lord.I pray that the blood of Jesus cover them. I pray the power of God to give them strength. I pray that you love lord Jesus will hold them so close. I pray for the onlookers who are also affected to learn some valuable lesson from the situation. In the beginning you spoke and it was done. I know even in this dispensation of Grace you are still speaking. Thank you Jesus. Grant us Oh Lord your needed sustenance.

In Jesus Holy Name.

Do not give up on a Child of God

Samuel 16:7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Budding for Jesus

I know this may sound weird and outlandish to say do not give up on the vilest of sinner and the darkest person that you may know in your home, church, school, work or community. In my world, I have seen and come to know evil and discontent to be the guiding light for most people.

As I have often known, that God looks on the heart and not the outward appearance.

I was born and raised in Jamaica and very early in my life, I had three girlfriends that life had taken us into various directions. Anyway, we are all here in the United States except for one.  The reason I mentioned this is that one of my friend, we grew up in the church together and we have always been together.

Eight years ago, I migrated from Jamaica to this land but we have always kept in touch.  Her father is a pastor and in my childhood days, I remembered that he was always on fire for Jesus.  I found that very attractive.  As a child, I would say I want that fire and I want to be sold-out to Jesus as he seemed.

Well that happened almost two years ago when I said enough is enough. I am tired of doing it my way.

I gave Jesus my all without looking back. While going through discipleship my dear friend was also going through some challenges and everything I learnt in my session I would say it back to her.

She wanted to serve God but….

Well I kept praying and I could clearly remember every time I go on the internet the Holy Spirit would nudge me to pray for my girlfriend.  In fact, that was how Prayer Works Café started on the internet. I was no longer on the train and I often sought the Lord about what to do and who to pray for?

One day the answer came in a question. Who is praying for these people on the internet? Pray for the persons who come up on you Facebook page.

There were moments in our relationship that I would literally get tired and I would not know how to encourage my dear friend to go on.  We prayed, we talked, we cried but there was something in me that told me that it is going to be different soon.

If you know me, you would know that soon for me meant right now, literally the next minute. Anything else would be like eternity.

Therefore, as you can imagine I sometimes was impatient with the process. In these precious moments God was still on the job.  He was working things out.

Weeks would sometimes go by and we would not speak but I would be praying.

It was about two months ago I called because the Holy Spirit said I should let her be an administrator within the group.

She accepted.

In the same breath she mentioned I just told God that I want to be sold out for his will. We prayed and laughed.

Today I thank God that I was not shortsighted in the Spirit and I did not give up on my friend.  Her life has become a true testimony for the Lord. God is awesome. Hearing her in the morning brings tears to my eyes. Thank you, Lord for her life…

Is there anyone you have given up on or about to give up on?

Is there anyone that you are thinking there is no grace to cover their sins…?

God looks on the heart and as I once heard see Jesus and the good in people and leave the rest to God. He does the changing and we are all children of God.

Legalizing Homosexuality by Madge Nosworthy

Romans 1:21-32 (NIV) 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

The question of legalizing homosexuality has reached the Supreme Court. The onus is on the nine members to revise the Constitution, which upholds the Bible Principles that the union of a marriage is between a man and a woman.

A woman came forward to say that she was married to another woman for forty-three years.  It took a woman to take the Bible from the classroom and prayer out of society.

The big question is; are we going to stand and allow another woman to go against God’s law?

Act 2:24 states that we ought to obey God rather than man and Romans 2:21-32 gives a clear picture of the consequences of such actions.

America is the only nation founded on Christian principles.

How soon do we forget?

Let us stop being men pleaser and worship the Creator in truth. Remember our pledge, “One nation under God with liberty and justice for all”

We have to join forces and pray against such evil corruption of legalizing homosexuality. It is no wonder our nation is heading south because we have turned our backs on God. To have equal justice for all is one thing but to legalize a sin is outright lawlessness, which opens the door for the devil to take over and reign.
