Good Morning, Prayer Works Family.
Matthew 28: 19-20 commands us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Yet, it is imperative to address people’s physical needs, too.
It is difficult for one who is hungry and unclothed to think of a merciful and loving God. Jesus was careful to not only give people spiritual food but he literally fed them, too. He gave them fish and bread when they were hungry.
Remember the feeding of the five thousand?
It is an example to us to not forget the immediate physical needs of our brothers and sisters. He said when we feed the least of His people, we are feeding Him, too.
Won’t you support them with your prayers today?
Today’s food is prepared by A Bite A Yaad, with donuts provided by Dunkin Donuts.
We implore you to follow this example and help someone today.
In these harsh times, there are many of us who need immediate help. You may be the hands of God at work in someone’s life.
Let us be our brother’s and sister’s keeper.
