Abiding Faith by Wayne Smith

Hebrews 11:6 KJV “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

There’s a difference my Brothers and Sisters between Desire and Faith. You can have the desire to do something or get something but as soon as you are faced with certain challenges you lose that desire.

When you have Faith it causes you to pursue the thing that seems impossible, see desire will get you out of your Egypt and heading to your Promise but when you come upon your Red Sea you start giving up and saying why has God brought us out here to kill us.

Were there not enough graves in Egypt for you to leave us there to die, see that what desire does. Desire will take you to the entrance of your Promise but when you see that Jericho wall before you, you give up, but when you have Faith it will give you the Tenacity and the Power to hold on and go after your promise.

When you come upon your Red Sea and you don’t know where to turn, you can’t turn to the left there are Mountains on your left and you can’t turn to your right there are mountains on your right and you can’t look back because Pharaoh and his army is coming up behind you.

Faith will cause you to have no Fear but just Stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord. For the Egyptians you see today you will see no more, the bills you see today you will see them no more, and in the name of Jesus I’m crossing over my Red Sea.

Faith will get to the entrance of your promise and cause you to look at your Jericho wall and declare according to (Matthew 17:20 “for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”).

Praise your way through into your Promise, somebody just shout unto God by Faith right now.
