The Ultimate Test of Waiting by Christ’s Kingdom Representative

Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage , and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait , I say, on the LORD.”

Persevere while waiting on God...It is a test!!!

Hey friend, one of the hardest things you will have to do for God is to WAIT! You may be surprised to hear that but waiting is a test of every piece of scripture within you.

Every bit of the word that you think you understand and the practical expression of how you translate that into the way you live your life while you are waiting! The word of God says that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength!

Strength, is often built-in hardships, adversities, challenges, and the inevitable tests which come with being a child of God. God wants to know if you will still praise him when you cannot see anything! Will you still demonstrate the fruits of the spirit when you know your blessing is delayed!

Can He still trust you to be faithful over the little that He has already given you when you have no idea of when you are going to get the breakthrough?

Is it more about what you want him to do for you or is your heart his regardless?

There are many of God’s children who have been promised some MAJOR BLESSINGS but due to the size of it God held it up to make sure that your hearts were still clean and you really love him for who He is as opposed to what He can provide!

Your character, integrity, humility and motives have all been put through the furnace of affliction while you were being stretched to receive what God has promised you. There are times when you have even said to God that you no longer care as long as He remains in your life you will serve him anyway!

So I want to say to you this evening that you have passed your test, the door is open and it will soon be time for you to go, don’t get complacent at this juncture.

Expect the UNEXPECTED & STAND! THIS IS YOUR TIME!

Joel Chapter 2

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

God promises to always lead us into victory! That means, no matter what you are facing, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be planning for a comeback! In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making your list of who you’re going to invite to your victory celebration. You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life.

Put some action behind your faith. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for increase. You can plan for restoration. You can plan for a comeback that will make you stronger and better than you ever were before!

Giving God the First Fruit

There is something extraordinary about a person that puts God first in everything. Such a person is bless, contented, and the fruit of the spirit is evident in that person’s life.

First Fruits

What happens? God takes over and the individual follows.

As I have heard from my senior pastor ” What needs to change” for God to get the first fruit of the day?

Is it exercising self-control one of the fruits of the spirit?

Ask yourself the question and be honest to answer what do I give God?

Does he even get anything from the day?

Am I too busy where I cannot find any time to spend with Him.

He wants to hear from each and every one of us.  Please start by praying and reading his word.

How we start our day

Our morning prayer meeting was a huge blessing again. Every morning it is a different experience. God continues to use ordinary people to accomplish great things in his Kingdom.

Faith led the group this morning. The word came from Philippians 4:13-14.

“13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The take away is to prepare our minds for battle. We have to press in the spirit to defeat the plans of the enemy.”

Thanks again for the support and your obedience to pray everyday. Our newest members, Viris Hart, Naudia Bennet, and Auntie Carol.

See you tomorrow at 5:00 AM. Dial 209-255-1000 enter passcode 532238.

Analice will lead.

I urge you to start your day with talking to the Lord and he will Pilot you through the day.

Heart of Gratitude

Well, well, well, God is great. Prayer Meeting was a blast. People were in purpose. They could not wait on their turn to pray. What a blessing?

Andrea Randolph thanks for your leadership, and for the word Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.”

Walk in the fullness of his love, think pure, surround yourself with Godly positive people, and begin to live in the overflow, change the way you think if it is not according to Philippians 4:8. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. Focus on Jesus and leave the outcome of your prayers to him.

We are looking forward to you joining soon. Start your day with prayer. Be grateful for all is blessings. Look back over your life and find the top ten reasons for your joy. Write them down, share with a friend, post on your page and give God the Glory…

Father I thank you for waking me up today, I thank you that I am clothes in my right mind. I thank you for food on my table and shoes on my feet. I thank you for my family and my friends. I thank you that I have a job. I thank you for my car. I thank you that I can come to you and pray. I thank you for my health.  Lord, I could go on and on and the more I find things to be grateful for is the more I recognize that I am blessed beyond measures.

Lord please continue to change me from the inside out.

Living Like Jesus in 2013

Faith...

How did Jesus live each day?
Is it really possible for us to live as He lived?
Here are five things to consider:

The first is His dependency.
Jesus lived each day dependent upon His Father. We can also live each day in complete dependency upon the Lord. He is our strength, our life, our sufficiency, and He is the source of all we need.

The second is His faithfulness.
Jesus lived each day in faithfulness to what His Father called Him to do.As followers of Jesus Christ we can be faithful to what God has called us to do and do His will whole-heartedly.”

He wants it all

Sunday December 30, 2012 was very special for the Curtis Family. It marked the end to a life of un-forgiveness, divisiveness and bitterness in our family.

He wants it all

He wants it all

We were minutes away from having everyone together again. Father we will always serve you and this is a true testimony that “prayer works”.

This has been the desire of my heart and I kept praying and speaking life into everything that surrounds us being together. I strongly believe that God works upon the desires of our hearts and he will bring goodness to pass in my life.

I also believe that my mind is powerful and if I can see it and believe it through God’s grace; I will eventually have it. I have asked the Holy Spirit to help my unbelief concerning my family situation and even when things seem to be going South I refuse to focus on what I see.

I have worked on keeping my focus on things ahead. Philippians 3:14-1514 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

According Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,” this I hold on to and kept praying and seeking God for a breakthrough.

We were excited and gave God thanks for creating such an opportunity for us to be together again as a family.  We have to hold on to the promises of God and remember that he will do what he promised in his timing and his perfect Will for our lives will be accomplished as we trust, obey and completely surrender our all.

I have seen God’s hands in our lives. It has been a long time coming. I am claiming everything that God has for me for 2012. I am in my eleventh hour, the last quarter, doing the last minutes in the last lap and I am determined to be completely delivered from every generational curse, every doubt, every negative thoughts that plague my mind concerning leading a positive and fulfilling marriage life.

My expectations are being met one by one.

In the end, it came full circle and God completed the healing where it all started at my home church. I am so happy now. I am having one of the best moments in my life.

I love you God and I am grateful for your finished work on Calvary and for the breakthrough in my family.

God will not relent until he has it all and self is fully crucified.
