Dear God, the master of all our problems. I worship you in spite of our setbacks. We are indeed in the last days, you have stated in your words that perilous times shall come. If ever a time we are experiencing perilous times its now.

We are so saddened by the tragedy in Connecticut. My savior you know the extend of the damage. Merciful father you know the pains that the loved ones of the bereaved family are experiencing at this time. I know prayer works for sure, because i have proven you so many times and times again.

I PRAY FOR YOUR PEACE TO ABIDE IN AND AROUND THE AFFECTED COMMUNITY, AND IN EXTENSION THE REST OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
I pray that you take control of the situation.I pray that those who mourn the death of these little children will with time find comfort in thee oh Lord.I pray that the blood of Jesus cover them. I pray the power of God to give them strength. I pray that you love lord Jesus will hold them so close. I pray for the onlookers who are also affected to learn some valuable lesson from the situation. In the beginning you spoke and it was done. I know even in this dispensation of Grace you are still speaking. Thank you Jesus. Grant us Oh Lord your needed sustenance.

In Jesus Holy Name.

Touching Jesus by Dawn B Jones

Matthew 9:20-22 “And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.” Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.”

I am asking for prayer yet again. It is so easy to ask others to have the faith to stand..when all along you are preaching to the choir. I have been out of the hospital this time for nine days and trying my best not to go back in. One of the many things God is healing me from is gastral paresis.. the stomach‘s inability to process food..
So each time I eat I am basically dumping new food onto old until it fills up to the top and I must vomit to get some relief. It causes severe stomach cramping and no urgency to relieve myself. This is the main thing that usually lands me back in the hospital.
If I have no relief by tomorrow I will be going back to Emory. I am so ready for this to be over….two years of this is about as much as I can stomach literally. I need my stomach and my bowels to begin working again.
The Doctors basically cover this whole thing with a band-aid and after a few weeks send me back home. please pray total and final complete deliverance from all of this and as always, my many thanks to each of you in advance.

Prayer

Dawn we have seen the power of God at work in all your members. Today is no different, God continues to heal you gradually.

We thank him for your complete healing and we pray for your strength as you go through this process. Father we stand in the gap and we declare peace, rest, deliverance, totally selflessness, a heart of gratitude and a spirit of humility. Father if it is your will take this cup away from Dawn. Again not her will but may your will be done. Bring glory through this situation Lord. Father, daddy we call upon you and we ask for help.

An Ambassador for You

Today was actually the first day I could help a client from start to finish.  If you know my story you would probably know I am pretty new to my current location but not new to my position.

Well, I always know that I was in my role for more than what is listed on my job description. Everyday as I venture out I would find out from God what would you have me do today? As I ask I often ask the Holy Spirit to sharpen my spiritual senses so that I do not miss any opportunity to be a blessing and a light.

Mission Field

At times work does not feel like work because I am on the mission field . Yes ,I said it, even at work I am on the mission field.  It not to say I’m always preaching or I’m not approachable; but what it is? It the joy unspeakable and full of glory kind of living.  I know I’m relating to a lot of my readers in this statement. While the demands are pouring in, the goals are escalating by the minute and the one hundredth top priority item is added to the list of ninety nine.  I still can smile and I still can make a difference. Is there any opportunity in similar situation in your life for you to be a witness? How can you glorify God through it all?

I say all of that to say this, today while I was waiting on a client I met in my lobby, I had a Godly encounter.  While asking questions and smiling and talking. I got this strong urge to give the client several compliments and be encouraging. In my spirit I was wondering why? But the answer was not clear until further in the conversation she mentioned something very personal and then started crying. It was a very touching time… There was silence for about a minute… We looked at each other and said nothing…

Salvation is for all John 3:16

At first, I was startled, then I ask if she needed a hug.  I opened my arms and then she nested in my hands like she had found refuge.  I literally felt something left my body and my dear audience I knew the power of God was transferred into her being. She told me this has never happened before because she is from Sudan, and she is from a different religion, where she is not allowed to be as opened.

In my heart I was praying and thanking God for such a precious moment. I know the God that I serve far transcends religion and he’s able to reach and touch any situation. God is awesome and today is a real confirmation that at work I am more than my job description. Through Christ I am helping to shape lives.

How are you making a difference at work, church, school and or home? Journal it and challenge yourself to take further action right away.

Prayer

Dear God, please remember this precious soul and my request is that she finds you and finds rest.  It is hard being a woman in a lot of other cultures but you can heal any situation and we invite you in to help with your daughter and her children. Amen.
