Let Us Stick To The Jesus Plan by Kevin Barrett

John 14 verse 6 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Kevin Barrett

Kevin Barrett

There has been an increase in “desperation” by many folks, to reach God by “any means” necessary. We know the “Time of Trouble” is scary. But….. it is not a reason to change the course nor the process that God already has in place. That process is & remains to be Jesus. There are NO OTHER INTERCESSORY persons dead or alive.

Please remember, that good intentions will not get us to heaven, nor will it increase favor with God.

Obeying the Lord’s process & doing so (with a willful heart) will. I know that some religions have saints, scholars, leaders etc., that we may be encouraged, persuaded or even forced in some cases to use as instruments to reaching God. Some religions even encourage money contributions. But “all other methods” or designs by men will fail.

Use the plan already in place.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus is the ONLY WAY.

When Friends Betray…God Delivers

Psalm 55 NIV
1 Listen to my prayer, O God,
do not ignore my plea;
2     hear me and answer me.
My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
3     because of what my enemy is saying,
because of the threats of the wicked;
for they bring down suffering on me
and assail me in their anger.

4 My heart is in anguish within me;
the terrors of death have fallen on me.
Fear and trembling have beset me;
horror has overwhelmed me.
6 I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
7 I would flee far away
and stay in the desert;[c]
8 I would hurry to my place of shelter,
far from the tempest and storm.”

Lord, confuse the wicked, confound their words,
for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 Day and night they prowl about on its walls;
malice and abuse are within it.
11 Destructive forces are at work in the city;
threats and lies never leave its streets.

12 If an enemy were insulting me,
I could endure it;
if a foe were rising against me,
I could hide.
13 But it is you, a man like myself,
    my companion, my close friend,
14 with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship
    at the house of God,
as we walked about
    among the worshipers.

15 Let death take my enemies by surprise;
let them go down alive to the realm of the dead,
for evil finds lodging among them.

16 As for me, I call to God,
and the Lord saves me.
17 Evening, morning and noon
I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.
18 He rescues me unharmed
from the battle waged against me,
even though many oppose me.
19 God, who is enthroned from of old,
who does not change—
he will hear them and humble them,
because they have no fear of God.

20 My companion attacks his friends;
    he violates his covenant.
21 His talk is smooth as butter,
    yet war is in his heart;
his words are more soothing than oil,
    yet they are drawn swords.

22 Cast your cares on the Lord
    and he will sustain you;
he will never let
    the righteous be shaken.
23 But you, God, will bring down the wicked
    into the pit of decay;
the bloodthirsty and deceitful
    will not live out half their days.

But as for me, I trust in you.

More of you oh Lord 2

Spiritual Maturity Test

Lets see how teachable we are. Lets test to see how well we follow instructions.

Write down what you see in yourself and how readily you are to walk in obedience?

At the end share what you have seen in yourself and what through the Holy Spirit you will look to change about being obedient or humble?

More of you oh Lord 2

Sharing from the prayer conference this morning on the assignment above was deep.

As we begin to look inward and search and listen we begin to see the real us.

The Holy Spirit also begins to work and show us how we need to change for the kingdom of God.

Through this exercise, we learnt that we should come before God naked ready for worship. Nakedness before God is simply stripping ourselves of our sinful nature.  Jealousy, envy, malice, pride, lying, pretentiousness, favoritism, disobedience, murmuring, ungratefulness, stubborn, stiff-nakedness, just to name a few ungodly behaviors that hinder us from living a blessed life and get between us getting intimate with God. “Too much clothes”. Let us lay these things aside as we connect with God.

What is our new life showing?

Can someone see Christ within us in our smile, in our general attitude?

More than what we say it is what we do and we have to remember that our daily lives should reflect Christ.

Have a wonderful day as we grow together and mature in the kingdom of God.

Go into the World and be the Hands & Feet of Jesus

Mark 16:14-20 “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat , and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen . 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ; but he that believeth not shall be damned . 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe ; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth , and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following . Amen.”

The group went to Camden today to feed.  As usual, it was a blessing. Before we could start there was a line of people waiting for us. The welcome was different and we thank God.  We have prayed for the people to be receptive and today they were. It was easy to share the word of God, hug, kiss, and just listen to the variety of stories.

We served over 100 people coffee and donuts. Today, it was “very different” we talked with several people and heard some stories that help us know that God is working things out even when things seem down. The overarching message is that his mercy and grace availeth much. We have a lot to be thankful for…

It was a pleasure connecting with Leroy, his family and Tyrell and his friends. They have a lot to share and sometimes just need a listening ear and a face that smiles and reminds them of hope.

At the end, we prayed with several persons; read the word of God with them and lend a listening ear, which for the homeless can be rare.

Father we thank you for the opportunity to share your word with the less fortunate. Father we pray that from this day forward your word will take root in their lives and there will be a change as these people seek after you. Thank you for Camden City and the change that is taking place right now.

Walk as a Child of God by Christ’s Kingdom Representative

Isaiah 57:1-2 (KJV)

The righteous perishes,
And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away,
While no one considers
That the righteous is taken away from evil.
He shall enter into peace;
They shall rest in their beds,
Each one walking in his uprightness.

You may have noticed that the father is being a lot stricter with you and that is because He wants you to understand that in this hour it is very important that your WORDS match up with your ACTIONS in validation of your FAITH!

We are in the END -TIMES where people are in flat out rebellion and willfully do not want to serve the Lord! Music, T.V. Films and the media in general are all working in opposition to the word of God and his commands, which has shaped a generation that is inevitably, being groomed to serve in the ANTICHRIST system.

We all have family members and friends who are resistant to hearing the word or being saved and though we pray and try to drop a word here and there, they just like us will have to make a choice whether or not to follow the Lord sooner or later. I say all of that to say this, our lives and the words we speak and our actions in many cases may be the closest thing that some people will ever get to the BIBLE.

We are a walking epistle!

People who cannot receive Christ for whatever reason are watching the things we do and they are weighing up their options to see if they could walk the walk and believe like us. We must more than anything start to practice what we PREACH and if we are not be honest about it by being transparent rather than unintentionally leading anyone astray or into discouragement!

The word of God say is that troubles and tests will surely come but we must not let them become an obstacle for ourselves or anyone else around us. Your consistency in following the word of God over the doctrines of the world is like a banner over your life for all to see.

The REMNANT of God is the ones who preach from the gospel and apply it to their lives, living the word, breathing the word, dreaming the word! No one is perfect and trust me we all fall short but we have to constantly be aware of how we live and what we do.

Sometimes, you not partaking in certain things speak more than just telling people what is right and wrong.  We need to be men and women of the WORD of God everyday so our whole lives becomes a tool to evangelize our unsaved family members, friends, work colleagues and brothers and sisters in the ministry who need to see a good example.

God is separating the wheat from the chaff; you are now being able to see, who the REMNANT is as opposed to the ones who follow the worldly church system. The Lord says my sons are the ones who are led by my spirit and my friends are the ones who do as I say!

Prayer of an Intercessor by Christ’s Kingdom Representative

Luke 18:1 (KJV) “And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”

Prayer Until Something Happens

Prayer Until Something Happens

You may be experiencing some extra tiredness or lethargy this week or in the coming months which is a little more than usual.  God has communicated to me that He is tired of his saints REJECTING their callings over their own trivial ambitions; many of his sons are being persecuted around the world as Satan has stepped up his campaign because we are really close to the mark in time where the tribulation will be officially taking place.

There is also a quick work being done in the spirit right now so the sons of God can be made mature and be ready to go and lead as much people to Christ as possible. (Rom 8:19) There is a lot going on behind the curtain in the spirit and if like me, you are a prophet or sensitive you will be able to feel that something has definitely intensified!

Father tonight I pray over my friends and ask you to help them deal with the changes that are going on in the spirit right now. Help them if they are running from any part of their calling to except what you have so graciously given them for their good.

Thank you for the quick work that you are doing right now father. Help my friends who you regard as your sons to be made manifest and be ready for such a time as this. Father you alone know the hour and how close we are to the official start of the tribulation. Therefore, I pray that you would impart to my brothers and sisters the urgency of this moment so they would not be caught off guard when the time comes and would have consciously been working on the end time assignments that you have given them.

Father speak to them in ways that they can understand, increase their dreams, visions and reinforce the unction of the Holy Spirit within them so that the ones who are assigned to them to be saved will be saved or the ones who need to be empowered to save others will be trained and ready to go!

Father thank you for what is happening behind the curtains because we know that your plans over our lives are for good and not for evil. Bring encouragement, validation, training and mentorship for your children who are on their knees in surrender before you and are pleading with you to be sent to do your will.

Father you said that this is the season of the UNDERDOG. Therefore, as you raise up the ones who are UNEXPECTED or UNDESIRABLE or who look to be OVERLOOKED, and who have been faithful but INSIGNIFICANT in their ministries until the time of your unveiling I pray that you would undergird them with the power of your word and the revelation of the heavenly arsenals at their disposal.

Father you are who we look to when all is said and done and you are the one we adore, we exalt you and we give you all the glory! I pray this prayer to you in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus (Yeshua) Amen (Shalom) X

My face is shining upon you, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with Me, your Peace. As long as you focus on Me, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and I will lift you up.

The closer you live to Me, the safer you are. Fix your eyes on Me, the One who never changes.

How did Jesus live each day?
Is it really possible for us to live as He lived?
Here are five things to consider:

The first is His dependency.
Jesus lived each day dependent upon His Father. We can also live each day in complete dependency upon the Lord. He is our strength, our life, our sufficiency, and He is the source of all we need.

The second is His faithfulness.
Jesus lived each day in faithfulness to what His Father called Him to do.As followers of Jesus Christ we can be faithful to what God has called us to do and do His will whole-heartedly.”

Lord,
As a new year begins, we come to You and ask for Your blessing.
We pray that you would give us joy to fill our days, peace to fill our hearts, and love to fill our lives.
Thank You for the plans You have for us in this new year.
We wait in anticipation to see all You will do!

Thanking God for you and praying your new year is blessed in every way.
