Walk as a Child of God by Christ’s Kingdom Representative

Isaiah 57:1-2 (KJV)

The righteous perishes,
And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away,
While no one considers
That the righteous is taken away from evil.
He shall enter into peace;
They shall rest in their beds,
Each one walking in his uprightness.

You may have noticed that the father is being a lot stricter with you and that is because He wants you to understand that in this hour it is very important that your WORDS match up with your ACTIONS in validation of your FAITH!

We are in the END -TIMES where people are in flat out rebellion and willfully do not want to serve the Lord! Music, T.V. Films and the media in general are all working in opposition to the word of God and his commands, which has shaped a generation that is inevitably, being groomed to serve in the ANTICHRIST system.

We all have family members and friends who are resistant to hearing the word or being saved and though we pray and try to drop a word here and there, they just like us will have to make a choice whether or not to follow the Lord sooner or later. I say all of that to say this, our lives and the words we speak and our actions in many cases may be the closest thing that some people will ever get to the BIBLE.

We are a walking epistle!

People who cannot receive Christ for whatever reason are watching the things we do and they are weighing up their options to see if they could walk the walk and believe like us. We must more than anything start to practice what we PREACH and if we are not be honest about it by being transparent rather than unintentionally leading anyone astray or into discouragement!

The word of God say is that troubles and tests will surely come but we must not let them become an obstacle for ourselves or anyone else around us. Your consistency in following the word of God over the doctrines of the world is like a banner over your life for all to see.

The REMNANT of God is the ones who preach from the gospel and apply it to their lives, living the word, breathing the word, dreaming the word! No one is perfect and trust me we all fall short but we have to constantly be aware of how we live and what we do.

Sometimes, you not partaking in certain things speak more than just telling people what is right and wrong.  We need to be men and women of the WORD of God everyday so our whole lives becomes a tool to evangelize our unsaved family members, friends, work colleagues and brothers and sisters in the ministry who need to see a good example.

God is separating the wheat from the chaff; you are now being able to see, who the REMNANT is as opposed to the ones who follow the worldly church system. The Lord says my sons are the ones who are led by my spirit and my friends are the ones who do as I say!

Dear Lord when I think of your goodness and mercy over my life I am overjoyed.

Thank you Father for all you have given me and for fulfilling the promises you have for me.  Day in and nigh out I see you in my life.

You keep coming through for me and my promise is that I will serve you with every breath that I take.

Father Jesus, you have blessed me beyond measures.  My cup is overflowing.

You have prepared a feast for me in the presence of my enemies and today my enemies are rejoicing with me because they have seem you living through me.

I am forever grateful and I will sing praises unto you and bless your name at all times. Sure you are good and your mercy is forever.

Lord you sought me out to bless me I cannot contained the joy you placed within my heart.

I must tell somebody that you have been a great God.

Thank you Lord! for keeping me, in those days, when things were dark and gloomy.  Thanks for the testimonies after testimonies in those trying moments.

I have found the answer I learnt how to pray.

Lord, I love you and again I am grateful.

Please keep me humble in all that I do.  Help me to walk in purpose and to never lose sight of who you are in me.

All success comes from you and I thank you for your favor over my life.

I am truly blessed and highly favored by you God.

My face is shining upon you, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with Me, your Peace. As long as you focus on Me, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and I will lift you up.

The closer you live to Me, the safer you are. Fix your eyes on Me, the One who never changes.

Today is different.  I started my day with prayer as usual and did my regular chores for the day.  What is remarkable is that I am off from work and I am able to take my daughter to school.

It seemed perfect! Just the way I have always wanted it.  My husband got up, got showered and dressed for work and came out to my prayer den with a wide smile and holding Jaiden Rae in his hand.  We all kissed and hugged and my heart overjoyed.

Just as I know, it could be.  It took eight year for us to be there and I will enjoy every moment of it. Eight long years for me, to finally submit, and for me to give it all to Christ.  Eight long years for me to rid myself of every ounce of bitterness and un-forgiveness and eight year, to start all over from the beginning, wiping the slate clean.

The last days were hard because I was always holding on to something else that I thought I was entitled to. Today I am enjoying the fruits of hard work and grace and mercy, letting go and let God.

I dropped my daughter off to school and I watched her play; as I handed the paperwork over to the teacher and say my New Year’s greeting. There is a peace that comes with watching my child finding her way and knowing her place in the world.

For years, we have prayed for Jaiden Rae to be bold and today again we are seeing just that.  Father I thank you for the small benefits of life.

One of the teachers mentioned I could take a group and read stories to them.  I did it and it was an experience for me to read to my daughter and friends at her school.  We hugged, we kissed and then it was time to leave. I called Gardner and shared the great news with him.  He was delighted.

My Prayer

Dear God, I thank you for the big and small things in my life.  Thanks you that I was able to get the day off from work to take my child in to school. I am grateful for all that, you have done. Please help me to see how much you love and care for me.  I give you back today; help me to walk in your will and to appreciate all things. Amen!

He wants it all

Sunday December 30, 2012 was very special for the Curtis Family. It marked the end to a life of un-forgiveness, divisiveness and bitterness in our family.

We were minutes away from having everyone together again. Father we will always serve you and this is a true testimony that “prayer works”.

This has been the desire of my heart and I kept praying and speaking life into everything that surrounds us being together. I strongly believe that God works upon the desires of our hearts and he will bring goodness to pass in my life.

I also believe that my mind is powerful and if I can see it and believe it through God’s grace; I will eventually have it. I have asked the Holy Spirit to help my unbelief concerning my family situation and even when things seem to be going South I refuse to focus on what I see.

I have worked on keeping my focus on things ahead. Philippians 3:14-1514 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

According Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,” this I hold on to and kept praying and seeking God for a breakthrough.

We were excited and gave God thanks for creating such an opportunity for us to be together again as a family.  We have to hold on to the promises of God and remember that he will do what he promised in his timing and his perfect Will for our lives will be accomplished as we trust, obey and completely surrender our all.

I have seen God’s hands in our lives. It has been a long time coming. I am claiming everything that God has for me for 2012. I am in my eleventh hour, the last quarter, doing the last minutes in the last lap and I am determined to be completely delivered from every generational curse, every doubt, every negative thoughts that plague my mind concerning leading a positive and fulfilling marriage life.

My expectations are being met one by one.

In the end, it came full circle and God completed the healing where it all started at my home church. I am so happy now. I am having one of the best moments in my life.

I love you God and I am grateful for your finished work on Calvary and for the breakthrough in my family.

God will not relent until he has it all and self is fully crucified.

Hope for the Weary

Isaiah 40:28-31 (KJV) 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

For us it was another day to do what God has created us to do.  Actually, not everyone knows what that is, and for everyone it looks different. I am talking about purpose in God and answering the great commission to go into the world and make disciples according to Matthew 28: 19-20.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Again, I know what my purpose was for today and together the group did just that….

As you probably know, Camden has been on my mind and has been a city that I carry spiritually and often sought the Lord to get an understanding of why it is a forgotten city.

Geographically Camden is located between two great cities near the riverbed.  The city of Philadelphia on one side of the river and the other is the city of Collingswood. Both neighboring cities have its own troubles but it seems different from Camden.

There seem to be a spirit of depression over the city.

The answer I will never know and could be very much debatable.

However, as part of the will of God for the day Prayer Works Evangelism Outreach Ministries was there today. We had planned from weeks ahead that we would serve breakfast today.

It was wet and rainy and all seem dead when we got there.  We saw one woman who lived in her wheelchair on the road.  Her name is Laura. We prayed with her and asked if she needed something to eat and a change of clothes.

She took the coffee and the sandwich and told us her clothes size. Luckily, we had her size.  She was happy.

After we got back to the car with the food and clothing, we thought we would go to another location to feed and pray. We had one person, and then it turned into two before we knew it we were feeding several persons. We were ministering to one need after another.

It was nothing extravagant but God used us to be his hands and feet for the day touching lives, which had been forgotten.

It is funny how we take for granted the fact that we can afford coffee of our choice and food.  For others they wait for people to show up with a kind heart and they eat what is provided.

There were a series of events, which lead to us doing this.

You see, I always felt that God needed more out of me and that I was created to be more than just an ordinary person.

Spiritually, I was obese.

Sunday after Sunday, I would go to the house of God and I would eat but there was no spiritual exercise (outlet) to release all that I have been hear and reading since I was a child.

You see, I was spiritually overweight and I had to do something about that through the help of the Holy Spirit.   I pledged that I would start pouring out into others.  This created a balance, a spiritual workout from all the eating of the word.

Hence, I start ministering in every situation, the good, the bad and the indifferent. I am the church and the church is within me therefore everywhere I go, is affected by the God in me.

My counselor once said, “When I show up I carry the authority of God.” It took root in my spirit and now it bearing fruits.  The atmosphere will never remain the same. When I show up, because Christ lives in me people want to tap into their best and are motivated to be the best them.

All of us are change agents for Christ. How much we believe this and act on it is another thing. However, it does not change the facts.

What are you doing to help the weary in spirit today?

You might never be able to go to Camden or to a foreign country is there a “Camden” near you?  Can you use what God has given you to make a difference?

I mean will you activate your talent for the Kingdom.

One sure thing I know is when you do the will of God it brings peace and you can rest in the fact that he leads us beside still waters and He is the great shepherd.

Do what God is calling you to do and leave the outcome and everything else to Him.

It has always been GOD by Nadine Miller-Campbell

It has always been God
It has always been God
He keeps me strong
When everything is going wrong
He held me close
When everyone has let go
He is my friend when I am alone
There were days I felt I couldn’t make it
There were times I felt like, I was going to lose it
There were nights I cried myself to sleep
Somewhere, someone was praying for me
God intervene and kept me strong
It has always been God
I had my share of bad luck, and bad decisions
I have been broken, and I have been beaten
Used and abused, but somehow I pull through
It has always been God
He is watching over my soul, and he is in full control

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Showers of Blessings Awaiting…by Healing Communities

Today, while going to meet with one of the local house churches, and as I followed my GPS, I ended up in the middle of a deconstructed road and drove over something. I am not sure what, but it was big.
Anyway, I blew both front and back tires on the right side of my car :( The good thing was, there was farmer there who pointed out to us that we had landed directly in front of a garage run by a friend of his. He called the guy and he came and put two used but OK tires on our car.
Bad news is now on top of not having the money needed to move to our new flat, we now need at least two new tires.
Prayers appreciated!! We need a financial miracle!!

The Steps of the Righteous by John L Hemphill III

Psalm 37:23-27 (KJV)23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

Evening has come; with it comes the end of the Sabbath and the preparation of worship for Sunday. Today rather than preaching let’s just talk and think about the world we live in and our own lives. Think about the memories we have about our childhood.
In life we see a lot of things that we see. We see and hear things that we think our right and we see things that we think are wrong. What makes us want to do right and wrong? Well, it stems to the Garden of Eden which speak about the knowledge of Good and Evil.

However, if we are living the right way then how do we know it? And also what occurs with those who live right versus those who do wicked.
Proverbs 29:27 “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.”
This tells us that those who live wrong or do not abide by the ways of God or right are disgusting to those who do live a pleasing life to God. Likewise, if you are living the way that God approves of then you can be sure that those who are rebellious to the Lord or living in a less than pure way will hate you for it. Have you ever seen someone talk about a person that is living right and they don’t have a realistic reason to talk negative about them? Have you ever seen a person not like you simply because they don’t like the way you look when you are trying to live right? This is a good example.
Listen, if you live right then you will find those who live wicked as being detestable. If you don’t find a person who is living wrong as being detestable then that should be a warning sign to you that we should go to God in prayer about you own life; humble ourselves to the Lord and let Him change us. Likewise, if everyone likes you; even those who don’t live right the something is wrong because if you are living right then those who live wrong won’t like you.
But ask yourself the question; how do you know your living right; how do you know God approves of you? Well, its not how you feel or what you think because that can be programmed by how you grow up. If you are raised up to be prejudice then your conscience will operate around it so you can’t trust how you feel.
Listen, when it comes to programming everyone is right in our own eyes. Look at Proverbs 21:2
Proverbs 21:2 “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.”
We will always think we are right and ladies and gents that includes me yet it is God you decides what is right which is why we can not justify the evils of one person over another. The Lord, or in this word for God; Adonai or Master; our God and Master ponders our heart, our feeling, our emotions and He considers what we are approving of or who we approve of.
So we know we want to be right; we know that if we are right then we will see what is wrong as being wrong; we know that those who are wrong will hate us if we are pleasing God; but we also have to be careful because its easy to think we are right if we don’t use the word of God to measure what is right and wrong. When we are not right but we base it on ourselves it is easy to think our wrong is right; everyone is in danger of this truth; I am; a pauper who begs for change or the President; if God is not the standard of righteousness we fall short and we will be punished for it because we bring it on ourselves.
Proverbs 25:26 “A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.”
In this case here it shows the danger of those who are Christians who support anything that is evil no matter what it is; you place your testimony on danger just like a troubled spring. Image if you were starving on a hot day and you just wanted a cold drink because you’ve been in 100 degree heat; and imagine you went to a water fountain and you looked for relief and found the fountain isn’t working; that is what type of testimony you would be living; those who see you and expect you to uphold the gospel and the truth of God; the moral standards that God has set will see you as being a let down and you don’t want that do you? It wouldn’t make sense to go that way so why not use God as the foundation.
So often people say they believe in God but they justify wrong because they believe everything that God says except what they want to overlook and then you fall in the danger of this verse. Proverbs 28:4
Proverbs 28:4 “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.”
We have to be careful who we praise and speak well of and support because we must deny what God puts in us; the knowledge of right and wrong and we can find ourselves praising someone who is wicked or praising actions that are wicked. However, Ladies and Gents, if you are living right and you use God’s word; the Holy Bible to guide your life then your life will contend with the wicked; you will be at odds with those who live wickedly; as a matter of fact you can’t help it because you will be moving against the grain of those who are wicked.
There is joy however to come from this for those who depend on the Lord and use the word of God to guide there lives spiritually, morally, ethically, and physically. You will see the wicked and the wicked policies come to an end; you will see those who uphold wrong ways come to an end because you will outlast them if your foundation is on the Lord, not race, not social stances, not clubs, not even personal ideas based on how we were raised; but on the righteousness of God.
Proverbs 29:16 “When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.”
Ladies and Gents, we live in a time when like a decade ago our people are being murdered in our cities; schools aren’t teaching people right and wrong but only what they want to instead of what they need; we see an immoral push to try to turn away the very fabric of what a family is away from Americans by mocking marriage and by doing so mocking the salvation work of Jesus Christ who loves us as a husband should love a wife; they mock the very righteousness of who God is by trying to call homosexuality a civil right when it is a mockery of the divine and the hope of everyone, even them who mock of how a God can restore us all out of love. We are under attack by Hollywood who hope to force Americans to reject Jesus and the Bible and what it teaches for immorality and its not just Hollywood but now even the very Democratic Party.
We are under attack, on Television, in Music, in the Movies, on the Radio, how then can you wonder how years ago we had the strength to see children play outside or people having dignity in where they lived but now they don’t; it’s been a slow steady attack. Christians we are at war; we need to be proud of who we serve; Jesus Christ; and we need to stand up for what we believe by using the Holy Bible to determine what is right and rejecting wrong.
