Get Ready for your comeback by Trudy Ross

Joel Chapter 2

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

God promises to always lead us into victory! That means, no matter what you are facing, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be planning for a comeback! In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making your list of who you’re going to invite to your victory celebration. You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life.

Put some action behind your faith. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for increase. You can plan for restoration. You can plan for a comeback that will make you stronger and better than you ever were before!

Making your life Counts through Jesus

Philippians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

Time after time, I would know what I want and would pray and the exact thing happens.

Well, tonight is no different.

For months I have been carrying the need of Camden because I have been exposed to the life and what goes on right below my very posh city Voorhees.

When I volunteered for a local government school in Berlin, I would have to go to meetings in Camden.  What is surprising is that the city is known for everything evil and corrupted and everyone seems to be OK with it. Moments in my quite time with the Lord, I would see myself teaching Sunday school and eating with the little children in Camden.

I often pray for a connection to get my foot in Camden to teach inner city children about the love of God.  I said if I do not find any connect I am just going to find a nearby open area and just go talk and pray with the people in the streets.

Earlier I did just that, drove my car into the city and prayed for divine appoints. Exactly that happened.

You cannot go to Camden and not be taken aback by the sadness that grips the city and the horror stories that the body images and the facial expressions tell.

Last month at our Prayer meeting with Pastor Timothy at the Ardmore United Methodist Church, he asked me if I know anyone who would need baskets for Thanksgiving. I thought about Camden.

Well, today the basket were ready and it was time to deliver them to the people we have prayed for.

My friends I tell you it was a real joy to see the expressions of hope and gratitude in the families’ eyes.

Often times we take it for granted that we have … but there is a world just next-door that does not have the necessities to get through the day.  Many times next door is not overseas.

We have a lot to be grateful for.

I thank God for his provisions for his people.  One woman by the name of Louis said, “Tonight’s act of kindness confirms God’s faithful to supply their basic needs.  She was ecstatic.

Again, no matter what the need is, God will make a way.  He is waiting to hear from you and ready to act in righteousness.

In the end, it all comes together.  Only what is done for Christ will last forever.

Ask yourself the question, where can I make a difference? What can I do to make my life counts for Jesus?

Start with praying and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you God’s will for your life and when it is revealed, be obedient and act swiftly.

Real joy and contentment is found when you actually find your purpose in Christ.

As always, please let us know how we can help pray for you.

A Wife Cries for a Godly Husband

I am earnestly praying for my husband who is not a Christian.  While he encourages me in my walk and contributes to the ministry, he, at this time does not want to make the step.

I was at our leadership conference on Thursday when the minister spoke about sowing and thanking God for a return.  That day I sowed what I could give, not what I have but what I could give (my husband is not a christian) and my prayer and wish that night was for my husband to come to the cross and give his life to Christ.  I could actually see us all in church celebrating the Father.

I am now thanking God and standing on His word which is truth that He will also save the house of the righteous.  I am working on getting and staying in sync with heaven that everything that God has for me (my desire) will happen NOW.  Pretty much pulling from the future into the NOW as a Pastor so perfectly puts it.

Please can you and the team help me pray.

John L Hemphill III

Pray for me; I have to work, invest my money, go to college, pay off debts while going to college, try to save up money, pay for car maintenance so it keeps running and preach..of yeah and all without any raise in 6 years.
Pray that God adds more souls to His kingdom and that He helps me to manage. He has a reason for it all; I pray He will find a way to get glory out of these difficulties even though I don’t know why they are.
