Urgent Prayer Request

We desperately need your prayers in our situation.

My name is Olubunmi, I am a British Citizen who lives in London, my partner, Audrey is an American Citizen, who at the moment, still lives in Gladstone Missouri.

Last June, Audrey went to Ivory Coast to sell off his Late Father’s ship. Once the sell of the ship went through, Audrey found himself embroiled in massive amount of Red Tape, which involved the Customs in Ivory Coast, who have subsequently placed one challenge after the other on Audrey, hence preventing him from returning to the USA.

When Audrey went to the American Embassy in Ivory Coast to ask for help and assistance in this matter, the Embassy has refused to help him, purely because Audrey mistakenly did not apply for the Smart Travelers Enrollment Program, before he left the States.

Audrey has left his ten-year old daughter back home in the States with friends and you can imagine what the separation is doing to them. We have now all missed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

As you can imagine Audrey is slowly becoming quite despondent and he is fighting to hold.

Please pray for us, that Audrey will be able to leave Ivory Coast and return home safely.

What a wonderful time of year- Christmas. Hearts are light. People are generous and warm-hearted.  A time of togetherness and love. Decorations, trees, parties, shopping, plays and dramas, family dinners and get together, caroling, gift giving, rich foods all help make Christmas a special time of year.

Christmas

Hearts of both children and adults yearn for such a time with great expectation and anticipation. When I was a child we would have Santa Claus Christmas morning. (My favorite Christmas was the year I got a fire truck). Then we would go to Mama Johnston’s house, sometimes in the snow.
We would eat a sumptuous meal, sing carols around the piano, and exchange gifts. The thrill of the day was when Granddaddy gave us all a crisp new dollar bill in a fancy Christmas envelope.

There are treats we have at no other time of year. Peppermint cake. Chocolate drops eaten together with country hoop cheese. An orange with a hole cut in the top and the juice sucked through an old fashion sugar stick candy for a straw. Dr. Pepper heated up with a twist of lemon. Every family has its own sweet treats and unique traditions that make Christmas endearing. Christmas is still my favorite time of year.

In all the festivities, busyness and fun, let us take time to meditate on what Christmas is really all about. Let’s remember the reason we are celebrating. A world lying in darkness. A star that shone bright in the night sky. A stable. A manger. A baby born. Emmanuel – God with us.

The Word of God made flesh and dwelling among us. The long promised Messiah arriving in person. Love personified. The life-giver coming to give His life so that we might have life eternal. The light shining in the darkness and the darkness has never been able to overcome Him.
Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV “Unto us a child is born. Unto us a Son is given. His name shall be called Jesus for He shall save His people from their sin. He is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of His kingdom there shall be no end!”

My heart is broken “A” was doing so well he was getting married 2013…I don’t know what happen but he is back on drugs. He was off the drugs going around preaching the word. God was using him. Two months before his wedding day he is back on drugs?

Good Morning folks, it`s the day after and I have enjoyed it and was and am still grateful for it because of one purpose! Jesus Christ is and was the reason for this season and I welcomed it in that regard!
However, as learned Children of God we ought to know by now that the 25th of any previous or this present December is not really and truly Jesus` Birthday! It`s actually the day that culminates in the worship of the Pagan`s sun god Sull. However God has the ability to turn around things, what evil men took for their purposes, in the fullness of time the Lord causes it to be used for His Glory and that`s what I truly admire about Christmas!
There is more, but let`s leave it here for now! Be blessed in knowing that the Eternal stepped out of Eternity for a time to become Mortal so He could die to pay back a debt that you could not; and thus causing us to become adopted sons/daughters of The Most High God Forever amen…

I am taking a trip to Brazil on Thanksgiving to meet with my family. I will go by myself without husband and kids. There I will have a gathering with my nephews where I am giving my testimony. Right now I am felt with anxiety.
I know that’s what God wants me to do. Please pray that as the time for my trip get closer that this anxiety goes away and I am filled with joy. Also that I would not over concerned about my husband and kids back in NYC.

Please forgive my overly bold first prayer request, but this is urgent.

****Please agree with and intercede for me in prayer. My wife of 11 years filed for divorce on October 19th. In my state, divorces can be finalized within 60 days. I know the Lord‘s Will for marriages. To compound this problem, I believe that there are those close to the situation (in and out of our church) who are encouraging her toward this course of action. We have 5 sons, and as a child of divorce, I don’t want them to experience the pain, anguish and issues that divorce brought to me.

Please join me in this prayer. Let’s shake the floor of Heaven with this request!****

Father,

I ask you to strengthen Your workers in the Heavenly realms for this ongoing spiritual battle. All glory is Yours, and I believe You will be glorified through the preservation and restoration of my marriage.

By the authority given me in Jesus Name, I rebuke those spirits and people who have driven a wedge and are continuing to try and drive a wedge between myself and my bride!

Father, Jesus Himself said in Mark 10, “What You (God) have joined together, let man not separate”. I’m standing on that Word. Lord, I know that it’s not Your Will for divorce. I know that it is Your Will for us to work things out. Because of this, I claim the victory. I claim my marriage for YOUR honor and glory. So Lord, show Yourself through this process. Let ALL who have seen this situation, KNOW that it was YOU who brought us back together. There will be NO DIVORCE. Our marriage will remain unbroken, both in Your eyes, and the eyes of the civil authorities. Lord, I’ve been praying for us to spend Christmas under the same roof as a family, and believe You are working on that.

Into Your capable Hands I commit this matter. I thank You for the answered prayer and resultant glory that is ALL Yours. Thank You that I can run to you, Abba, and know You are strengthening me for a greater purpose.
