There is Power in the Blood

It was about 6:30pm in Stratford, New Jersey. While I was doing my nails yesterday, a strange-looking character came into the shop.  The owners where closing out the day’s activities and I had my purse on the chair. Prior to that while, I was taking out my purse from the handbag I heard a prompting, take your handbag with you.  I ignored the prompting and as usual hide my bag under the seat and went on my merry way.

When the man came through the door quickly, I was reminded of the prompting earlier to take my bag with my purse in it and not to have it conspicuously seated in the midst of everything.

The man drew closer!

My heart started racing and fear gripped me but again I knew this was a divine encounter irrespective of the strangeness and quick dehydration attack due to the water pouring out of my body in the form of sweat.

He looked me in the eyes as he came a little closer. Then he looked at the owners in the register and looked again at my purse. I looked back at him and asked why, are you here?  He stated he is from Camden. I asked again why, are you here? He got very annoyed and said you have asked that already. I know, but I need the truth from you.

In my heart, I knew he was lying and the reason was lame. He knew that too. I heard the prompting to pray for him and to witness to him.  I told him I could no longer “shoot the breeze” with him but I was getting from the Holy Spirit to pray for him.  He looked confused because he was thrown off guard and his chief purpose was interrupted. He said what are you, going to pray about.  I started praying for him though I was shaking in my boots.

I was prompted again to keep my eyes open and to look him in the eyes while praying.

My Prayer

“Father I pray that through the Holy Spirit you draw this man close to you.  Father I pray that you will scatter the plans of the enemy and bring confusion upon the enemy’s camp and over everything that is contrary to your perfect will for him. Lord I asked for a quick work of righteousness to be executed now. Father where there is evil; break it down through your perfect love. I plea the blood of Jesus over the darkness I see in the spirit and I pray that as of today Father Jesus, you will lead this man into the path of righteousness and goodness and mercy shall be your daily portion. Father I plea that blood, hallelujah thank you Jesus for this opportunity.

I plead the blood of Jesus about six times.

Father, I pray that no longer, will this man desire evil, but would crave the things of God.

By this time the man was frozen. His eyes pulping and he was lost for words. We were both looking deeply into each other eyes.

While heading toward the door he mentioned where you go to church.  I told him where my church is situated and he said I know exactly where that is.  He turned and left the building.

All this time I was shaking and my armpit dripping wet from the fear of being robbed. At this time, the owners and works were very silent. I started covering their office and prayed for God’s divine protect over them.

Again came the man, he said he wanted to speak to me I told him I have nothing further to say to him. The owners picked up the phone as if they were going to call the police and within a few seconds, we saw an old dilapidated white car came quickly and got him.  They sped off and within another 20 minutes we out of the building safe and sound.

I thank God.
