Power over Sickness

A close friend called to say her baby has very high fever and she is in the hospital with him now.  She is badly in need of prayer. Team,  please help me pray for complete healing over the child’s body and peace over the mom’s mind.

I declare and decree healing, your word says healing is the children’s bread therefore Father, have mercy and grant favor as we partake in what is rightly ours, healing. We release your spirit to take full control and to  disperse the plans of the enemy to cause confusion and dissention.

In the name of Jesus.

What a blessing? Wow, wow, wow. God you are amazing in all you’re doing… Thanks for your support and your prayers. The event was very successful. Chains of bondage were broken, lives has been set free, blessings released into people’s life and much more…

Again many thanks for all that you do in making this ministry possible. Thanks much Pastor Timothy Thomson-Hohl for opening your heart and the church doors to us. please continue to pray for the group as we continue to do the Lord’s work.

Please pray for my family. The Lord knows what’s going on with us! And exspecially for my son ‘s back injury due to playing football. He is only 15 and both me and my husband suffer with back problems. I just want Jesus to wrap his arms around my son ‘s aching body and heal him from head too toe. Please help me pray for my cousin who has a terminal illness.  Our family is very saddened by this fact.  Also she has four young children who is caught in the middle of this life changing experience.  Please help us pray for healing and a miracle in this situation. Please pray for one of our members who is struggling in walking with the Lord. …

Pray for a member who has a friend with a drinking issue and as a result the friend is admitted in the hospital. Member is not a christian, please pray for her salvation. Several members are seeking employment at this time.  Please pray for favor in this area. Please pray for families and marriages in and around our communities. Pray for God’s peace in relationships.

My Son is in Prison

Caller called today, with a hopeless cry for her son who is locked up for 26 years.  She is requesting prayer because she needs help not only for her son but for the other 3 sons she is raising.

She is a Christian woman and she has been rejected by our community, friends, and church, and family because of the nature of what her son did. She wants to remain anonymous but she has been following the ministry of Prayer Works Cafe on Facebook.

She mentioned she has not been able to pull herself together to see him since the day he had the incident which ia almost one year. She is saddened, depressed and angry. She badly needs our prayer.

 

Walk in the Spirit

Galations 5:19-26 (KJV) “16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

What Opportunity am I missing?

As we go through today, let us stop for a moment and think about, what is the scripture saying to us? “Walk in the Spirit so as to not fulfil the lust of the flesh”. Let’s activate the Kingdom of God within us by walking in the Spirit. Is there an opportunity to let this take root in your heart today?

Divinely Orchestrated 
With God there are no accidents. Every incident is intended to bring you and I  closer to God. Through the ups and downs in our lives, God will supply our needs.  His grace is sufficient and there is no exception. As we encounter this, our lives can be filled with joyful expressions of praise to him.

Purposeful Walk
Walk in love, peace, joy and unity. Count your many blessings, name them one by one. Start counting today and end your day with a grateful heart.

I am requesting prayer for myself and my young son. My story is very lengthy one but I will endeavour to be succinct. I feel I am beset with a lot of misfortunes particularly surrounding my career, education, finances and family life. I have been out of a job now for the past 9 months. I am also a single mother. During the period I have been unemployed, I tried to return to University to complete my degree but had to drop out (again) because I was unable to pay.

 

It’s a daily struggle for me..sometimes going without food for days…sometimes I can’t even find my rent. I have a great idea for a magazine and I can’t get it off the ground because of my dire financial state. I know the Lord will come through for me but sometimes its hard to hold on. I received a lot of offers of assistance but they all turned out to be empty promises. Please beseech the Lord on my behalf for a job first and foremost, if for the sake of my son and for my sanity. I feel desperate, restless and I feel angry at my baby sometimes too. I don’t want to live like this any more.All my life..from birth till now has been hardship…

I want the Lord to tell me if this is my lot in life as then I would understand why I have to face the difficulties that I do…Thank you so much and may the Lord continue to guide and replenish you.

Community Prayer

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and strengthens the powerless. –Isaiah 40:28-29 (NRSV)

Heavenly Father, I thank You that You made Yourself known to man. I thank You that You are our LORD, the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. I thank You, Lord, that You do not ever grow faint or become weary. I thank You that You are not in need of a counselor, for Your understanding is unsearchable.

Heavenly Father, I come before You today and ask that You would give power to those who are weak and faint in my community. I pray, Lord Jesus, that You would strengthen the powerless and lead them in the way everlasting. I thank You in advance for these things. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen!

6 This makes you very happy, even though now for a short time different kinds of troubles may make you sad.7 These troubles come to prove that your faith is pure. This purity of faith is worth more than gold, which can be proved to be pure by fire but will ruin. But the purity of your faith will bring you praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is shown to you.

Mediate on this throughout the day. I find it to be powerful knowing that when we go through trials of all sorts if we stand in holiness through the Holy Spirit, it reveals Christ lives within us.

Being faithful in trials!

Dear Lord:

Please help me to remain faithful in my testings. May my life always reflects you and may your will be done in my life. Help me to know that whatever happens today is in your will and I have the tools through prayer and the word to manage it. Thanks you Lord, amen.
